The Society of Medical NLP officialHealth Practitioner Training‘The Language of Healing and Health’Britannia Hotel, Nottingham, England. December 1 to 5, 2010![]() Dear Colleague,
We are pleased to invite you to attend The Society of Medical NLP’s 2010 Health Practitioner training in Nottingham, England, from December 1 to 5, inclusive.
Our trainings have been designed to meet three important needs:
1. a practical approach to the increasing number of complex, chronic conditions for which no readily identifiable cause can be found
2. a cost- and time-effective methodology that benefits both health professionals and their patients and clients, and,
3. a practical and effective counter-balance to the growing tendency within the medical profession to use powerful psychotropic drugs in an attempt to treat a wide range of essentially emotional, behavioural and social problems.
About the Society of Medical NLP
The Society of Medical NLP, was created in 1998, by Neuro-Linguistic Programming Master Practitioner and Trainer Garner Thomson, and Dr Khalid Khan, NLP Master Practitioner, physician and GP trainer, with the support and encouragement of Dr Richard Bandler, co-creator and developer of NLP. The mandate was to develop and disseminate practical and effective principles and techniques to tackle these and other problems, and to make them available to health professionals in a form that is easily learned and integrated into their practices, whatever their specialties. This approach, now known as Medical NLPTM, continues to be developed out of the principles and techniques of NLP, as well as extensive clinical experience and empirical research, and is now recognised by both Dr Bandler and an increasing number of clinical authorities, as a discrete field of specific importance to all practitioners involved in the delivery of quality health care.
The Society of Medical NLP and its Training Director, Garner Thomson has been invited to deliver talks and trainings through a wide range of organizations. These include Britain’s National Health Service, The Royal Society of Medicine, East Midlands Stroke and Cardiac network, the universities of Dundee and Stirling, The West of Scotland Pain Group, The Chinese Medical Institute and Register, and The Indian Dental Association.
This training is your opportunity to learn and incorporate into your own practice the Society’s model of whole-person health care. The course offers advanced, but easily assimilated, approaches to help you:
· save time and minimise costs
· reduce medical accidents and legal risks
· create a powerful therapeutic relationship between patient and practitioner
· upgrade administration and service management
· resolve conflict and other difficult situations, and
· reduce need for medication and improve clinical outcomes.
